All the news continues good
Your continued and varied messages of support buoy us all up and the news is as good as we could hope it to be: Harry's weight has clearly stabilized, he's no longer retaining fluid, his electrolytes are going up (which, apparently, is good), and he's less and less jaundiced every day. In their meeting with Cynthia yesterday (Tuesday), the doctors expressed the strong likelihood that, instead of needing to repeat the mix of drugs they used for the first round of chemo, they'll be able to proceed with the next "cocktail" (see "3 messages from Cynthia" posted on 9 March) when the second round of chemo begins.
Have a good night everyone,

This is FABULOUS news! Love and hope are wrapped tightly around you. Many of us are checking the blog regularly, and while we may not leave comments each time, please know that we are still here, keeping Harry foremost in our thoughts and prayers daily.
Love, Caitlin, Simon & family
I bumped into Henry on the steps of Laura Secord School on Wednesday and learned about this blog. I know Henry through work, and our younger son Bohdan is a classmate of Lydia's this year.
Our family wanted to let yours know that we are keeping you all in our thoughts daily, and we are so happy to hear all these indications that Harry's treatment is going so well.
As well, we would like to sign up to assist with any meal or other needs (if Lydia needs a playdate -- even in a pinch -- we are usually home). I am providing my email address and phone number here so that the organizer can contact us.
All the best to all of you,
Betsy Troutt and the rest of the Mierau/Troutt family
