Here's a picture of Harry that Cynthia sent just today. It was taken in December when Harry was eight months old. After his biopsy last Wednesday, the nurses in the recovery room wanted to measure his eyelashes; now you can see why!

I saw this picture originally on our Family site...what a beautiful boy he is....Henry and Cynthia we are far away...but you and your family, especially Harry, are in my thoughts and prayers everyday!! Thank you Kathleen and Gareth for the wonderful blog so that we who live far away can keep in touch with all the news and have a clear path in which to be praying!
We are Harry's aunt and uncle and we live just around the corner from Harry's Mom and Dad and his big sister Lydia in Wolseley, a neighbourhood in Winnipeg. At the end of February, when Harry was just ten months old, doctors at the Children's Hospital here in Winnipeg discovered that he had an exceptionally rare form of liver cancer, specifically a Rhabdoid tumour that had metastasized into his lungs and lymph nodes. This blog has tracked Harry's valiant and joy-filled journey from the time he was diagnosed until his gentle passing from this life on August 3rd. We continue to remember and celebrate Harry with occasional messages from his family and reports on the memorial fund set up in his name. We continue to invite you to engage with Harry's legacy by posting messages here.
